The Gift

Nature, Air, Land, Sea, Lake everything, flowers, moon, sun is a gift from God. This has been given because God loves us. He also sends his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to save our sin.

Gifts did not finish by just sending His Son to us. When His Son went up in Heaven Jesus Christ send the Holy Spirit to guide us. ( Acts 1:7-8)

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, we learn and live by our Faith and not by sight. We know and understand not to worship the mute idols but only God.

But then God of Spirit and Truth has a special gift to His children and this is the Gift of the Spirit in which our “talents” has given equal according to his powers but in different means and levels some has given through Spirit the message of wisdom, to another message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit to another faith by the same Spirit, (see 1 Corinthians 12:1-11) Whatever Spirit is in us we have to understand that the Spirit of Truth is in us and we need to discover more and we need to sharpen it so we can share our Faith in God in different forms and in different ways.

It’s pretty cool to receive a gift but what you can give in return, what is the greatest gift we can give to God, In Romans 12:1 We urge to offer our bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God (not to literally offering our body) but to live according to God’s purpose by believing, acting, by submitting our self to God, by following the two rules, by repentance, by all means. Praise and worship God humbly and do not think our selves as highly as who ever.

I dwell on this because, I must admit I been like this before… and honestly sometimes I feel that the preacher is pointing out on me but then I know that He doesn’t know anything about me nor my Life.

It has been given as our assignment to analyze and I also want to share this with. Because it really touches my heart, my mind and my soul.

“Romans 12
A Living Sacrifice

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Humble Service in the Body of Christ

3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Love in Action

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[c] Do not be conceited.

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[e]

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

~Glory to God, Thank you for the gift of knowledge and may your WORDS allow your hungry children. May your Holy Spirit stay in your children. And may your WORD truly dwell in every one’s heart who will read and share their Faith in you. Lord God thank you for loving us unconditionally and for always giving us ways to Trust in you, stay in our heart, our soul and mind and body.
~In Jesus Name. Amen
